Growing Leaders Together 🌱

Cornerstone Co-op, along with 16 other local Alberta Co-ops, Federated Co-operatives Ltd., and 4-H Alberta, is proud to once again support the future of agriculture by funding new 4-H memberships!

Through the Co-op Growing Leaders program, we're working together to make a meaningful difference in our communities. This initiative helps remove financial barriers for youth by covering membership costs for new and second-year 4-H Alberta members.

Collectively, 17 Alberta Co-ops have committed to the $50,000 Gold Clover Sponsorship level for the 2026–2027 program year. Over the past four years, more than 1,100 youth have been sponsored through this partnership, and we're excited to see that number continue to grow!

Who Is Eligible?

The Co-op Growing Leaders program supports youth in the Junior through Senior age categories who are new to 4-H Alberta or entering their second year of participation.

The program covers provincial registration and local club membership fees, up to the following amounts:

  • First-year members: Up to $200 in membership fees.

  • Second-year members: Up to $100 in membership fees.

Cleaver Kids may also be eligible to apply if funding remains available at the end of the program.
