At Cornerstone Co-op, we believe access to nutritious food helps students learn, grow, and thrive. Feeding the Future is our commitment to supporting local school nutrition programs so students across our trading area have the fuel they need to succeed.

What is Feeding the Future?
Feeding the Future is Cornerstone Co-op’s school nutrition initiative. It builds on the success of our former Bags for Breakfast program, continuing our long-standing commitment to supporting student well-being through access to healthy meals at school.

How Feeding The Future is Funded

Fuel Good Day: Fuel Good Day plays a key role in supporting Feeding the Future. In 2025, all proceeds from Fuel Good Day were directed to the Feeding the Future fund. We proudly partnered with local schools during Fuel Good Day events in:

• Wainwright (Blessed Sacrament School)
• Vermilion (St. Jerome's School)
• St. Paul (École Du Sommet)

Cornerstone Co-op Community Investment: Cornerstone Co-op also contributes an annual lump-sum donation to Feeding the Future as part of our community investment program.

• $20,000 from Cornerstone Co-op
• $7,000 raised through Fuel Good Day
  • Total 2025 Feeding the Future funding: $27,000

Our Impact

In 2025, Cornerstone Co-op distributed $27,000 through the Feeding the Future program to participating schools across our trading area. These funds help schools provide breakfast, snacks, and meal support to students — supporting their health, learning, and overall well-being. Since the program began, Cornerstone Co-op has contributed over $175,000 to local school nutrition programs, reinforcing our long-term commitment to strengthening the communities we serve.
