Our Hyper-Local program celebrates products made right here in the communities we serve and surrounding area. From small businesses, farmers, growers, makers and entrepreneurs who call our region home.

What is Hyper-Local?

Our Hyper-Local products are sourced from producers and businesses located within 200 kilometres of a Cornerstone Co-op location.

From locally raised and grown products to baked goods, preserves, specialty foods and more, the Hyper-Local symbol makes it easy to spot products that come from right here in our region.

Many of these products have been on our shelves for years. Hyper-Local simply gives them a name, a recognizable symbol and a way for us to better share the stories of the local people and businesses behind them.

More Than Shelf Space

For many small producers, getting a product onto a retail shelf can feel overwhelming.

Our Food team works directly with local businesses to help them understand the requirements of selling through a retail grocery store and navigate the steps needed to bring their products to market. It's one more way we can use our stores to create opportunities for local businesses to start small, grow and reach more customers.
