Cornerstone Co-op Invests $615,000 in Wainwright Cardlock Upgrades

Cornerstone Co-op is pleased to announce a significant $615,000 investment in paving and groundwork improvements at our Wainwright Cardlock, with construction beginning September 14.

This project has been a long time coming and addresses an improvement our Wainwright members and community have been asking for. The work will include extensive groundwork and site preparation, followed by a newly paved surface to provide a safer, smoother and more reliable experience for customers using the Cardlock.

Spectre Systems will serve as the lead contractor, with construction expected to take place from September 14 through late October.

What to Expect During Construction

The Wainwright Cardlock will remain open throughout the project. Work will be completed in phases to maintain access; however, customers should expect temporary changes to traffic patterns and access while construction is underway. Please follow all posted signage when entering and exiting the site.

This project represents a major investment by Cornerstone Co-op in our Wainwright operations and in the community we serve. We’re excited to make this much needed improvement and look forward to providing an even better experience for our community.
